Marketplace Option

Could you qualify for an The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or “ACA” for short, is a comprehensive health care reform law enacted in March 2010. It has three primary goals: make affordable health insurance available to more people by providing subsidies (“premium tax credits”) that lower costs for households with incomes between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level; expand the Medicaid program to cover all adults with income below 138% of the FPL (not all states have expanded); and support innovative medical care delivery methods designed to lower the costs of health care generally. subsidy?

Individuals making less than $62,600 (families of four under $128,600) may still qualify for premium tax credits on the Health Insurance Marketplace. Select a policy during Open Enrollment each fall — or anytime with a qualifying life event.

Enhanced credits from the American Rescue Plan / Inflation Reduction Act sunset December 31, 2025; standard credits remain available.
